HomeCare Services is rigorous in maintaining high standards for its caregivers. You can rely on the fact that our caregivers are well screened and well trained, so that you will be receiving safe, compassionate, and understanding care.

• Do I have to sign a long term contract?

No, any agreement can be cancelled with 24 hours notice. 

• Is insurance accepted?

Most "Long Term Care" insurance is accepted. Check with your broker to see the conditions and limitations of your policy. In general, Medicare and Medicaid do not pay for long term care in the home.

• Can you transport me to and from Doctors' appointments or procedures?

Yes, Generally we will do that driving your car (for insurance reasons). Our services is often less expensive than a ride in a taxi. 

• If I don’t like my caregiver, am I stuck with her?

 Of course, not.  We will make every effort to provide you with a caregiver or caregivers that you like.

•  Will I know who is going to come on any given day?

Yes.  We will make every effort to minimize the number of caregivers who come into your home. The fewer the number of caregivers, the more comfortable you will be.

•  What happens if my regular caregiver goes on vacation, becomes ill,
  or quits?

We are notified at the office, and you will be introduced to your temporary or new caregiver, by one of the company managers.

•  What if my caregiver doesn’t show up?

We thoroughly screen, do criminal background and reference checks on all of our employees and as a result, we have a 99.5% on time show rate. In the rare instance that the caregiver doesn’t check in on time, we are notified electronically, and you will be called. We will make whatever arrangements necessary to insure that you get the care, you need, deserve and have paid for.
